We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of our colleague Daniel! As a team leader in the Purchasing and Sales department, Daniel is a central part of our company. He is responsible for the entire supply chain and supports our team members in their professional development. In the following interview, Daniel gives us an insight into his tasks, experiences and the special features at RTS Electronic.
What are your tasks at RTS?
Daniel: “As team leader for purchasing and sales, it’s my job to oversee the entire supply chain and act as a central interface.” I accompany and support the development process of the team members by serving as a mentor with my experience and regulating complex processes as a communicator. “Our task as a team is to achieve the company’s goals, whereby respectful and cooperative interaction is particularly important.”
What do you particularly like about the company?
Daniel: “In addition to many benefits, such as physio appointments and a feel-good manager, I am particularly enthusiastic about the daily work.” Every component request is a new challenge for me, which I tackle with flexibility and personal responsibility thanks to the trust of the management – always in the interests of the company and for the benefit of the customer. “We think like artists and work like accountants.”
What experience do you remember particularly well from 25 years ago?
Daniel: “One experience from the first few months of my time at RTS is particularly memorable.” Back then, I was the first and only employee in Sales and felt overwhelmed by the variety of components and terminology after a demanding customer meeting. I stood in the toilet and asked myself whether it all made sense. “Today, after 25 years and the positive development of RTS, I am proud to be a part of it.”
