Since February 1, 2024, we have been a proud member of the industry interest group COGD (Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland) e.V.
This membership marks a significant step towards dedicating ourselves even more intensively to obsolescence management and thus actively countering the unavailability of components in products.
For more than a quarter of a century, we have been supporting our customers, which consist of EMS service providers and industrial companies with their own production facilities, in the procurement of electronic components. By joining the COGD, we want to share our extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with this topic within the network.
We attach particular importance to ensuring product availability for our customers and continuously maintaining production through manufacturer diversification. By developing customized stockpiling strategies, we ensure that the required components are available in the long term.
Our central approach is to use global sources of supply in order to be able to react flexibly to market fluctuations. With this strategic focus, we avoid supply bottlenecks and our customers can rest assured that their production processes will not be affected.
In addition, we focus on solution-oriented and high-quality consulting in order to continuously optimize our customers’ supply chain management. Through our membership of the COGD, we will further expand our expertise and help to ensure that the members of the network are equally prepared for the challenges of obsolescence.
Overall, joining the COGD marks an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to offer our customers first-class solutions and avoid product failure risks. By acting together, we are tackling future obstacles and challenges along the value chain.
